Moving forward…

The DDA of Monticello is a special entity in the state of Georgia. While created by statute and an arm of the City of Monticello, it does not receive funding through the City of Monticello and is currently self-funded. The DDA Board proudly runs The Shoppes of Monticello which allows entrepreneurs to enter the retail market in downtown Monticello as merchants, while producing revenue for the DDA to operate.  The DDA is currently going through a reconstruction faze to better serve the downtown corridor in this beautiful, bustling small town over this next year.  Please contact one of the DDA Board members if you live in the downtown area or own a business in Monticello for more information if you are interested in joining the Board to better Monticello!
